The AUGUST 2014 Monthly Bulletin Packet is now posted.
The Membership Report as of August 31, 2014 has now been posted to the Reporting site.
There was a Resolution passed at the National Convention that will affect how dues are processed. The Resolution states:
Sec. 104óMembers in Good Standing
o The calendar year of the Ladies Auxiliary is from January 1 to December 31.
o A member who has paid her dues to December 31 is in good standing.
o She ceases to be in good standing on January 1 immediately following the year for which her dues have been paid.
o She shall not again be in good standing until her dues have been paid for the current year.
o Dues must be paid by June 30 to remain a continuous member.
o Prior years dues may not be paid after July 1.
o A member who has not maintained her annual membership in the Ladies Auxiliary may reinstate her membership in any Ladies Auxiliary by payment of the current year's dues.
o Reinstated members shall submit an application and be accepted in the same manner as a new member. No admission fee shall be required.
o Continuous membership begins again upon payment of dues.
o Date of reinstatement starts new continuous membership timeline.
This means that the Department Treasurer will no longer be able to accept and process dues for 2013 and 2014 after September 23rd. Only 2015 dues can be processed until June 30th, 2015. Any member that has not paid her 2015 dues by July 1st will need to submit a Membership Application to be reinstated and be accepted in the same manner as a new member. The memberís new join date will be the date that the dues are processed through National Headquarters.
